Yes, our waterproofing systems includes existing structures. Our team will assess the current condition of your roof or foundation and determine the best approach to apply the waterproofing solution (bitumen or liquid rubber waterproofing) with minimal disruption. We use techniques and materials designed to work effectively on existing surfaces.
The installation time for a zinc reservoir varies depending on its size and complexity. Generally, a standard size (250kL) reservoir installation can take between 3 to 5 days. This includes order placement, site preparation, construction, and commissioning. For custom or larger reservoirs, the timeline might extend accordingly. Our team will provide a more accurate estimate based on your specific project requirements.
A well-constructed reservoir, when maintained properly, can last 20 to 30 years or more. The lifespan depends on factors such as environmental conditions, usage, lining, and maintenance. Regular inspections and preventative maintenance can help extend the life of your reservoir.
Our preventative maintenance services include a free inspection of your waterproofing needs, standard preventative bitumen waterproofing, and necessary repairs. We check for any signs of wear and tear, leaks, or potential future issues and address them before they become significant problems. This proactive approach helps ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your systems.
Paint flaking or bubbling can be caused by several factors:
Moisture: Probably the most common issue here. Trapped moisture beneath the paint can cause it to bubble and eventually peel. This is often seen in areas with high humidity or where there are leaks such as a pipe inside the wall.
Poor Surface Preparation: If the paint was applied to a wet surface or if the surface was not cleaned, sanded, or primed properly, paint adhesion can be compromised, leading to peeling or bubbling.
Low Quality Paints: Using low quality or the wrong paint that are not compatible with the surface or with each other can result in poor adhesion and peeling.
Application Issues: Applying paint too thickly, or in conditions that are too hot, cold, or humid, can affect the paint’s ability to adhere properly.
Underlying Issues: Structural issues such as cracks or deteriorating materials can lead to paint failure as these issues can affect the integrity of the painted surface.
Yes, all of our services includes a free 10-year warranty on the material used.
